Mountain Christian Singles was started by a group of singles in Franklin, NC and surrounding areas for the purpose of fellowship and recreation. The first official planning meeting was held September 12, 2006.
The group is open to any singles, (whether still single, or single again) from high school graduates on up. Activities will be varied to try to cover everyone's interests.
Events will be planned in the area (Western North Carolina). The primary areas will be Macon, Jackson, and Swain counties, though anyone willing to drive from farther away will be welcome.
